I saw it when it first came out but it was just too expensive. I received my comforter set a few days ago and am just as thrilled with it now as I was 5 years ago when I first laid eyes on it.The pattern "townhouse" is absolutely stunning. It is very elegant and classy looking. The photos do nothing for this comforter. Most photos of this comforter appear dull and drab but that is not the case. The colors in this comforter are deep, rich colors. It is nice and thick, very well made, and large enough to accomodate even the thickest mattress so no worries there. The bedskirt is well made. The part of the bedskirt that lays across your boxsprings (under your mattress) is regular cotton (sheet-like) material, not that cheap paper feeling material used on most bedskirts that rip and tear after a week. Its a lovely quality set, as are all of Croscill's products. I understand that the manufacturer "Croscill" has discontinued this line, which was very similar to another they had had about 10 years ago "Dunhill" which I replaced this one with- it lasted 10+ years, I hope they bring this pattern back again in the future. |
