This quilt has a lovely traditional scroll border, and was a great price, and that is why I bought it. However, upon close inspection I found three slightly yellowed areas, about the size of a coin. I treated them with a stain-removing pen, to no avail, but once the quilt was on the bed, I did not even notice. KING QUILT FIT MY QUEEN MATTRESS NICELY.

Although I found some minor imperfections in the stitching, over all I like it.

There were no noticeable "new" smells, but I decided to wash it anyway. There wasnt very much lint in the lint trap and the color didnt fade.

I ordered a king size for my queen size bed. Its a little big, ie hangs almost to the floor on all sides, but I prefer it to be be over sized.

I was shopping for a warm, affordable, quilted-blanket that wasn't too heavy or used stiff materials. This turned out to be a perfect light-weight quilt. I love that it's all cotton and easy to clean. The twin size fits a pillow-top twin bed just fine.
