I chose this one because it's the right height for my bed. I prefer air mattresses because of a neck injury. It's a lot more affordable to buy a nice air bed and replace them once in a while than to buy an expensive regular mattress that will lose its shape in a few years. Not worth the investment. This air bed has a horrible design. The beams run the length of the bed, leaving the wider sides and foot to inflate much higher than the main part of the mattress. It's like sleeping on a jelly donut, if you can imagine that. I haven't had a decent night's sleep since I bought it. I found an Aerobed mattress of the same height that has the tufted cylinder design. What a wonderful difference! When I laid down on the Aerobed mattress, it was sooo comfortable!! I definitely do not recommend that anyone buy this Intex mattress. A different design, sure. But this design will leave you with an aching back.
